The Masters/PhD Hooding Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 in McAlister Auditorium at 9:00am. This ceremony is for students receiving Master's degrees and PhDs from the following schools: Liberal Arts, Science & Engineering, and biomedical sciences in the School of Medicine.

Corporate Matcha Gron Te Pulver O Ceremonial Grade Award Ceremony  Students receiving a master’s degree will be hooded by the chief marshal. The Hooding Ceremony is for graduate students only and does not replace Commencement. The Commencement Ceremony, held the next day, includes graduate and undergraduate students and is the official conferring of degrees. The hooding of doctoral and master’s candidates prior to Commencement is an honored and special tradition at Princeton. This ceremony will integrate the conferring of degrees into the existing hooding ceremony to create one Commencement event for graduate students.

Faculty who wish to be part of the ceremony but are not hooding candidates should arrive. 5 minutes before ceremony. Procession begins. 1 hour after ceremony. The hooding ceremony ends. 2018-06-05 All graduate students (master’s, educational specialist, and doctoral) will participate in a combined commencement ceremony. The UAB Graduate School Doctoral Hooding Ceremony and Master's Student Commencement is held the Friday evening preceding the Saturday undergraduate ceremony.

The Master in Arts Administration, Master in Corporate Communication, and Master of Science in I/O Psychology Hooding Ceremony is a special recognition ceremony for MA and MS degree candidates during which a current Baruch College graduate faculty member places the Master’s hood over the head of the graduate, signifying his or her success in The College of Education and Human Development Hooding Ceremony recognizes students' achievement in earning their master's or doctoral degrees. The ceremony is also a chance for graduates to recognize the family, friends, and educators whose support helped make their graduation possible.
